Last Sunday, the GreenBay Packers faced the Pittsburg Steelers in the Superbowl. There was a lot of hype at school about who would win and me [Ridge] and Jake were the only ones who picked GreenBay. I honestly hate the Steelers and that was a big influence on who I picked to win. I thought that Aaron Rodgers was just too good, so thats why I picked GreenBay.
It wasn’t that close in the first half, the Packers really dominated with Big Ben throwing an interception which got returned for a touchdown. Also, Aaron Rodgers threw a touchdown pass to build the lead. The second half was completely different, the Steelers couldn’t be stopped and the Packers could not do anything. Even though the Steelers started to come back, they could not win. GreenBay ended up wining 31-25…Go Packers!!!
Last night the Boys Logan Elm basketball team played against Fairfield Union. This was the last game for the seniors at Logan Elm to be playing at Logan Elm.
The first half the Braves played terrible. They were down by at least ten the whole half. We had turnovers, we couldn’t make a three pointer and none of our shots were falling.
Finally in the third quarter we began to slowly catch up. We started driving into the paint, we started collecting more rebounds and our shots began to fall. Then in the fourth quarter with about 4:30 minutes left one of our best players got hurt, Jake Thomas. He was out for the rest of the game. He finally came back in with 1:00 minute left.
We cleaned up our act but it wasn’t enough. Logan Elm still lost 37-45. We narrowed it down to one point with 3:00 minutes left, but we still pull through.

Logan Elm loses their last home game. They lost to Fair field Union the score was 37 to 45. at one point we were down by 1 point but then they came back.
Everyone was upset when Logan Elm lost. A lot of people thought we would when but Fair field came out hard. All in all it was a good game to watch.
